Microsoft Graph retires Windows 365 Cloud PC beta image properties on 7 December 2026
Microsoft Graph /beta stops returning named deprecated Cloud PC device, source and gallery image properties on 7 December 2026; most have documented replacements, but recommendedSku does not.
Previous state
Microsoft Graph /beta Cloud PC image resource payloads have exposed deprecated properties alongside their newer properties, and integrations may still read those old image fields.
Current state
From 7 December 2026, Microsoft says these deprecated /beta image fields stop returning data: cloudPcDeviceImage.statusDetails (use errorCode); cloudPcSourceDeviceImage.id (use resourceId); cloudPcGalleryImage.offer and offerDisplayName (use offerName), publisher (use publisherName), and sku and skuDisplayName (use skuName). The cloudPcGalleryImage.recommendedSku property has no planned replacement.

Integrations and administrators reading the listed Microsoft Graph /beta image properties for Windows 365 Cloud PC provisioning, uploaded images, source images or gallery images; unrelated Microsoft Graph v1.0 APIs and the Windows 365 service are not shown to be retiring.

Microsoft's October 2026 overview names the December 7 cut-off for three /beta resource types, and the linked resources enumerate deprecated and replacement fields. This is field-level retirement, not Windows 365 service retirement or an assertion about all v1.0 endpoints. The overview was last updated on 24 October 2026; the original first announcement day is not independently established and sourcePublishedDate is deliberately null.
