Google Ads API stops creation of new Smart Campaigns
Effective 3 August 2026, the Google Ads API no longer allows creation of new Smart Campaigns; existing Smart Campaigns continue to serve ads and can still be updated.

New Smart Campaigns cannot be created through the Google Ads API, while existing Smart Campaigns continue serving and remain updateable.
