AWS JavaScript CRT and IoT SDKs move to the Node.js release schedule
AWS will drop Node.js 14.x, 16.x, 18.x and 20.x support from its JavaScript CRT and IoT Device SDK v2 in January 2027, making Node.js 22.x the minimum.
Previous state
The SDKs support Node.js 14.x, 16.x, 18.x and 20.x alongside newer supported runtimes.
Current state
In January 2027 those legacy runtime lines are dropped and the minimum supported Node.js version becomes 22.x; later changes follow the published Node.js schedule.

AWS CRT for JavaScript and AWS IoT Device SDK for JavaScript v2 users on Node.js 14.x through 20.x.
