Atlassian permanently switches off every Marketplace V2 API

Atlassian set a blanket hard sunset for all Marketplace endpoints under /rest/2/, stating that every remaining V2 endpoint would stop working after 30 June 2026 and that integrations must move to V3.

Atlassian MarketplaceREST V2REST V3API sunsetpartner integration

Previous state

Marketplace partner and reporting integrations could still call a mixture of individually deprecated and not-yet-removed V2 endpoints.

Current state

The complete /rest/2/ surface is switched off and calls return errors; V3 is the supported replacement surface.

Who needs to care

Marketplace partners, vendors, billing/reporting integrations and internal tools that call Atlassian Marketplace V2 endpoints.

What to do

Inventory every /rest/2/ call, map it to V3, test production permissions and response contracts, and escalate any missing V3 equivalent to Atlassian.

What the source does not prove

The notice is a blanket API-surface sunset. It does not guarantee one-to-one V3 parity for every V2 endpoint and explicitly directs partners to seek help where an equivalent is missing.
